Yum$ in London
Hello again from London! It’s just past 9.30am here and we’re just doing a bit of a shoot at the club lounge of the hotel again before we head out to a few different tourist spots to shoot on Day 3 of our trip!

I don’t have much time so just a short update about yesterday … if I had to summarise it, I’d say it was ALL about food. We had a great breakfast at the lounge so that was a treat and we spent the next couple of hours shooting at the various locations of the hotel, only to be led into Avista, a great Italian restaurant in Millenium Mayfair. We got to meet Chef Michele Granziera, who made us some really yummy dishes. Or as XiaXue (who I finally met!) would say: So Yums! (or Yumz?).
Jojo, Wendy, Mike (her fiance) and myself shared a table because our lunch was being recorded and we had some interesting conversations. I’m actually looking forward to writing about her for the paper!

We did a bit of shopping later and then was treated to a meal by BossMing (from Nuffnang) who together with Tim took us out to Rhodes West End Restaurant at the Cumberland Hotel. It is a 1 star Michelin restaurant so everyone was stoked (we even had to dress us – though most of us only had casual wear). I managed to find good use for a 10 pound jacket I bought!
The dish about is the Halimut with duck confit (my favourite!) but that was only one of three courses (not to mention there were a few other little drinks/dishes in between.
Needless to say, both meals cost quite a bit (hence why I put in the $ sign in the headline!)
We’re off to do some tourist sightseeing today. Catch you guys later!
