Yes, I’m plugging The Swimming Instructor again

I know, I know. For one, I haven’t been consistently updating my blog.
Secondly, I’ve been plugging this show way too many times. Well, that’s because I’m proud of it. I really am enjoying myself with this play – and I believe it is one of the more fulfilling pieces I’ve done. We’ve done four shows so far (publicly, that is, not counting the couple of previews and dress rehearsals) and I’m glad that people have responded positively to it.
Just this evening, when I bumped into ShaolinTiger, KimberlyCun, KYspeaks and Suanie, Suan told me that she’s heard good things about the show. So, it’s not just my friends being nice to me!
Another reason for this plug is also because many people have been messaging me and texting me apologising for missing the show. Many people actually think that the show ended over the weekend (many theatre shows in KL only run for a few days, unfortunately).
Well, guess what? We’re still on!
That’s right, we still have six shows to go so try to catch us between tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec
and Sunday (Dec 13).
It would be really good to see you there, and I hope that yo enjoy it. I’ve really enjoyed performing it for the audience for so many nights and really can’t wait for tomorrow (we have a day free today).
Mum, dad and my sister (plus her friend Lurve) are coming to watch the show tomorrow – my biggest critics. If mum says, “It’s okay” means it was just mediocre, but if she says, “Good” then I know it’s good. My sister will be the first to have comments about it (so much so that she shows it in her face the moment I walk out from backstage usually!).
But it’s all good. It’s all love. My oldest sister, tai che, came on the opening night and said she and Mizuan, my brother-in-law, enjoyed it. I hope you guys do too. See you there!
Oh, shows are at 8.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and 3pm on Sunday. Tickets are RM38 (but RM28 for senior citizens and RM23 for students). Call 03 40479000 to purchase them!
