The trailer for Project Alpha got pirated!

If you weren’t at the press conference or at the Blogger’s Launch for Project Alpha today at Cathay Cineleisure, you would probably have missed the trailer to Season 2 of Project Alpha! Well, unless you visit Hot Magazine’s site that is and watch the clip – piracy at it’s best!

I’m putting the video here for you to watch as well.

If you were watching properly, you would have noticed that yours truly also makes an appearance in there. Yes, in case you haven’t been following my many Tweets and blog posts about the show, I am one of the seven featured bloggers to be, er, featured in the reality show which will premiere on April 19 (that’s like two weeks away!).

Yesterday morning, we all got together at Cathay Cineleisure for the press conference of Project Alpha. Most of us bloggers featured in the second season of the show made it, and Wendy (Xiaxue) who was in London with me for the shoot, also made an appearance!

In the picture above is KYspeaks, Project Alpha host Jojo Struys, Wendy and Ninie Ahmad, who are all featured in this season. Azwan Ali, Joe Lee and ShaolinTiger, all of whom are also season 2 featured bloggers were at the event as well. Only Cheesie, who I think is traveling at the moment, wasn’t there.

The press conference was held in one of the cinema halls and I sat next to Ninie and KY, who jumped over from the row behind to join us before the event started. Classy, man!

At the event, the trailer (which is recorded in the video above) was shown followed by speeches from the major sponsors and partners such as Adidas Action 3, P1 Wimax and Malaysia Airlines. This was followed by a question and answer session, which I must say, was quite vibrant – people were actually asking questions!

These people answered questions (from left): the spokesperson from MAS, Jojo, Sam from Adidas Action 3, Idham Nawawi from P1 and of course, Nuffnang’s Timothy Tiah. There has already been a couple of stories published including this one on Daily Chilli, the official online news portal.

There were some photo ops after the event was over. Naturally, some of us managed to camwhore before we were whisked off in different directions for interviews and refreshments (I was interviewed by RTM2 and Nanyang).Below is a shot of me, Azwan, Ninie and Joe.

I had a good time today, it’s all very exciting and I can’t wait for my episodes (I hear that my episodes premiere on April 26 but I’ll get back to you on that). It was also good to catch up with friends and hang out with this folks. I’ve not seen Wendy and her husband (newly married too!) Mike since London, it was nice catching up again with Jojo and our director Michael (although we’ve been bumping into each other around town) as well as other friends.

And my old friends Craig and Farrell who I’ve not seen in ages, and are running the PR campaign for Project Alpha.

I stole the picture below from the Daily Chilli site (sorry, yeah boss!) because I didn’t get any of these shots but I thought it would be nice to share one which included all of us. The photo is a bit boring but I think this is one of the few good shots we had ‘cos when we started mucking about after the photographers asked us to be a bit more excited, we almost dropped Ninie!

I’m off to bed now, as it is really late and I have to *ahem* work tomorrow. I have some shots from the Blogger’s Launch which happened later that night but I think I’ll save that for another post. Can’t keep my eyes open already. It’s been a long day.

I do want to leave you with one picture however. This is Ninie torturing me. We were asked to pose by the buntings of ourselves, and she said that she wanted to do my pose. Which left me having to do hers. As you can tell, I didn’t succeed very well but at least I was 50% there!

Or so I tell myself. Nite all!
