I’m not sure how many of you folks still read the newspapers but if you do, you might have come across pictures similar to the one above (apologies for the bad quality – that’s what happens when you take a picture from a newspaper).

We ran those teaser ads from Saturday onwards in The Star as a promo to lead up to the brand new revamp of R.AGE the publication in today’s StarTwo. Last year, R.AGE stopped publishing our college pullouts and decided to go national, with daily presence in StarTwo (and a bumper issue on Wednesday where we take the cover).

Well, after almost a year, we decided that we need something newer and fresher. Lo and behold, the new R.AGE!

One of the biggest elements of the new look is not only the design, but also the introduction of four new columns by members of the R.AGE team. Nasa Maria Entaban has Nasassistic, Sharmila Nair has Sharm on the Scene and Ian Yee has Ian-ything Goes. Mine is What the Tweet, where I will talk about social media and online stuff.

The columns will be weekly (R.AGE will only be published once a week from today onwards – on Wednesdays) but we have also launched the R.AGE blog where members of the R.AGE team, interns and our contributors will update on a daily basis. Have a look and see what you think.

We’re quite excited by this, and hope that people like it too. I try not to blog too much about work stuff on my personal blog but I am really happy with this revamp and blog.
