SMK La Salle PJ celebrates its Golden Jubilee this Sunday

Events

A quick one to plug an event happening this Sunday. Sorry I’ve been pretty erratic with my blogging, the Shakespeare workshop plus work and all is starting to take its toll a little.

Anyway, back to the event. My alma mater, SMK La Salle PJ or LSPJ as we used to call it (not sure if they still call it that now), will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and will be commemorating it with a charity canteen day called La Salle PJ Golden Jubilee Carnival. The funds will help upgrade the canteen, library and sports facilities (like the tennis courts).

The last time I was back there a couple of years ago, it looked as if it had not changed since I left in the mid-’90s. *cough*

If you’re nearby, or have the time, please drop by this Sunday. Coupon booklets will cost RM10 and the event will go from 9am to 3pm. I will be there about 12.30pm with a couple of my former school mates.

More details available on the school’s website.

There was a couple of articles in the local papers about the golden jubilee as well, except that there weren’t that many details in it. This is The Star’s article, while The NST published this.

Sapienta Et Caritas.

Oh, and no prizes for guessing what The Bangsar Boy will be writing about this weekend. ;)
