RIP: Datuk Syed Alwi Syed Hassan

Update (7.24pm Malaysian time):
The Star reports that initial post-mortem shows that Datuk Syed Alwi likely died of natural causes. The head injury, the report says, was sustained on impact of his body falling. The cops have ruled our foul-play but are still investigating (not sure what time means tho).
I was reading the papers this morning and came by the article on the sudden death of National Laureate Datuk Syed Alwi Syed Hassan.
I did not know him personally, but have great respect for him as a theatre practitioner and national icon. He was one of the pioneers of Malaysian theatre and his death, I’m sure, will be a big loss to the arts fraternity.
Articles of his death - the cause of which is still pending a post-mortem - was found in The Star and NST.
Rest in peace.
