Join the Rojak Runners!
Yes, that is me in that picture. *blush*
You guys probably know that I’ve really taken to running ever since I decided to run at the Nike+ Human Race 10K when I was sent there for work to cover the event. I’ve done a few races since (time hasn’t gotten any better though!) and now run at least once a week, although I should do more.
Well, in preparation for this year’s edition of the Human Race in Singapore come Oct 24, I have agreed to join the Ambassador’s Challenge. I am teaming up with Jason @ Smashpop, 8TV’s Zher Peen and Era’s Nana as The Rojak Runners against the Sambal Sprinters (made up of Amanda Choe, Zaquan Razak and Hitz.fm’s Rudy) for bragging rights!
How it works is like this: If you have a Nike+ Sportsband (or an iPod Nano with Nike+ technology), you can join in the battle! Help me and my gang outrun the silly Sambal people (rojak is more yummy!) and everyone stands to win some cool merchandise from Nike.
All you need to do is log on here and choose Rojak Runners (you need to sign up first if you haven’t already) and just keep running and syncing your Nike+ runs so that it counts towards our tally.
I know, we’re already leading thanks to my friend Frank who is training for a marathon, but hey, it’s early days yet (the challenge ends on Oct 24) and anything can happen. So please don’t kesian all those smelly Sambal peeps okay? hehe Join my team and run and, dare we say it, win! You can keep track of my runs by viewing the Nike widget I placed on my sidebar (yes, I know I last ran on my birthday – I promise to run today!).
