Jack Black is Jesus Christ …

… in a Hollywood web musical called Prop 8 – The Musical.

One month after the United States voted in its first Black President, and three states, including California, banned gay marriage, opponents of Proposition 8 have released a protest video starring some bigwigs of Hollywood.

For those of you who don’t know, Proposition 8 was a 2008 California General Election Ballot initiative measure titled:

Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry

I blogged previously about it here.

The proposition passed but is currently being challenged in the courts. Protests have been ongoing since then, and this musical – hosted by Funnyordie.com which is co-founded by Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay – is just one more attempt by Hollywood stars, many of whom are against Prop 8, to join in the protest.

Prop 8: The Musical is just three-minutes long, and features quite a few stars including Jack Black, Neil Patrick Harris, John C. Reilly, Andy Richter, Maya Rudolph, Margaret Cho, Rashida Jones and more.

It was just so funny, I had to share it with you guys.
