Greetings from London

Hello from London!

First off, apologies for the small thumbnail like pics – I’m uploading them up via my phone because I’m not using my laptop but the computer here at the *ahem* Club Lounge of the very beautiful Millenium Hotel in Mayfair, London.

It’s just about 11am here in London and I’ve been up for a couple of hours but we’re taking it easy this morning, trying to sort out where to shoot within the hotel.

In case you’re not sure what I’m doing in London, I’m here with the Project Alpha crew (Facebook | Twitter) to shoot two segments of the show for season 2, including an interview with Singaporean blogger extraordinairre XiaXue (who’s having breakfast just beside me now with her fiance Mike)!

The picture above was taken at KLIA as we were checking in. As you can see, there were cameras and boom mics around because our whole journey – from checking in, to spending some time in MAS’ Golden Lounge to our journey on the plane was recorded.

I had to take the shot above and credit the crew on board MH004 KUL – LHR who were very accomodating (even posing for us, and having to repeat themselves several time to retake so shots we needed of them serving us food and what not).

They were very pleasant about it so, thanks very much!

We arrived about 4pm in the evening and immediately took a cab into our hotel in the heart of London. I will have more shots of the hotel in upcoming posts but I wanted to share this shot of the beautiful chandellier at the lobby of the hotel.

I just found out some facts about this place – including its association to the Battle of Waterloo as well as the murder of an ex-KGB spy – but I’ll tell you all about that in a later post.
