And the Most Wanted Ruumate(s) are…

I have just returned home from the grand finale of Ruumz’s Most Wanted Ruumate competition. It has been running for the past couple of months and I am part of the campaign as one of the judges alongside the Bling Brothers Fly Guy and Ross, Lu Jing Shia and Sarah Lian.

The event tonight was held at The Loft at Heritage Row and fourteen of the finalists showed up (maybe most of the rest thought they had no chance of winning – only one person who didn’t show up won a prize).

The host for tonight was Joey G, who was brilliant, as always. The other judges and I had this platform just in front of the stage, so we were blocked most of the time by the photographer (so excuse the photos). I also had to go on stage a couple of times so I didn’t bring my camera along. Apologies for my iPhone photo, which doesn’t take great pictures in the dark unfortunately.

At the end of the night, Derek Yap was crowned Most Wanted Ruumate (Guys) and Rachel Beh took home the Most Watned Ruumate (Gals) crown. Amanda Choe was named Most Desirable Ruumate (a judges choice award), and her male counterpart was Zak, who was unable to join us tonight.

My good friends Nicolas, Shai and Soon Wei joined me tonight, so I had a good time. I met many, many bloggers as well (As you would expect from a social media site event) so I won’t name them all. It was good meeting all of you again though.

There aren’t many photos yet of the event online so I can’t curi too many pictures but, and with permission, I stole this from Smashpop who showed up for the event, dissapeared and then reappeared when it was all over. It’s me, Amanda, Ellie Chee (another participant) and Jason himself (OMG! It’s Smashpop! *rolls eyes* haha). I’ll be parting with this shot, although it’s not the most flattering shot of me!
