A Wicked day in London
It’s technically day three in London for the Project Alpha crew as Jojo, Wendy, Mike and I explore more of London. We planned to have an early start but the moment we walked out of the hotel, we all ran back in because it was so bloody cold (or as XiaXue would say, “So mad cold”).
It has been by far the coldest day for us, and looking out of the window now as I write this post, I think it’s going to get worse.
That picture above was taken outside the Waterloo Station, where we were supposed to meet Ming (the co-founder of Nuffnang). We ended up meeting him at the London Eye, a few minutes walk away and together we strolled to the Parliament House to see the clock tower, most commonly (but wrongly) referred to as the Big Ben. In actual fact, the Big Ben is the name of a bell located there.
From there, we went off to visit the Borough Markets which was really nice and then we went of to Camden Town, one of my favourite parts of London!

We had a bit of time to kill after that before we were going to meet up again so I gave Angeline a call and we caught up for, erm, half an hour. I had to go to Marks & Spencers to get something so we met there and she did some grocery shopping as well.
Look at the self-checkout counter above – I love it! I got to try it too as I bought some goodies back for the folks at R.AGE (yes, cookies are coming!).
Then it was off to the Apollo Victoria Theatre to catch Wicked. I really enjoyed it, although I had previously watched it on Broadway (action!).

Off to Stamford Bridge now folks, it’s the derby! Chelsea vs Arsenal. Woot!
